WEDNESDAY, FEB. 27
Grammy Awards (CBS, 8 p.m.)
We're gonna watch. And U should 2. (Get it? Multiple nominee U2!) Anyhow, second-time host Jon Stewart will make much better jokes, we promise.
Dumb and Dumber (the WB, 8 p.m.)
To those who write this off as a fart-joke extravaganza -- you're wrong and wronger! It's worth watching Jim Carrey before he got too big and Jeff Daniels before he fell out of sight. But we could never figure it out: Who was ''Dumb'' and who was ''Dumber''?
When Dinosaurs Roamed America (Discovery Channel, 8 p.m.)
Fred Flintstone himself -- John Goodman -- narrates this two-hour partly animated documentary about prehistoric creatures. And maybe he'll explain how Dino was housebroken.
American Family (Check local listings, 8 p.m.)
A drama that is as much about Latino culture as it is about family, with a stellar cast headed by Esai Morales. And, um, it's on PBS, because the big networks needed room for other groundbreaking family fare... like ''According to Jim.''
Hot Places to See Hot Creatures (Travel Channel, 10 p.m.)
Animals, guys. It's about animals. But you think the marketing department at Travel Channel was hoping you'd think otherwise?
Cribs (MTV, 10 p.m.)
''Finest II'' is a clip show compilation of the greatest moments of this in-da-celebrity-house series. Like, couldn't they just air the Mariah Carey episode again?
Just Write (Womens Entertainment, 10 p.m.)
Bus driver Jeremy Piven tells wannabe starlet Sherilyn Fenn that he's a screenwriter to win her over. They fall in love, become huge stars, and get John Cusack to play second fiddle in all their big blockbusters. Well, not true, but close enough.
THURSDAY, FEB. 28
Survivor Marquesas (CBS, 8 p.m.)
Didn't ''Survivor: Africa'' end, like, two minutes ago? Well, Mark Burnett and company go back to the beach in the too-sadly familiar ''milk this baby till it's dry'' TV programming strategy.
Friends (NBC, 8 p.m.)
Tonight Joey tells Rachel that he loves her and that he got a huge raise for his TV role, so she'll never have to worry about money again. But Rachel tells Joey that SHE just got a huge raise too, so she doesn't need his stinking money.
Leap of Faith (NBC, 8:30 p.m.)
Remember the first season of ''Sex and the City''? The lighting was kind of off. The costumes were cheaper. Stories less compelling. Well, this show -- brought to you by ''S and C'' writer Jenny Bicks -- plays like a rejected script from THAT season.
The Agency (CBS, 10 p.m.)
Beau Bridges joins the cast of this sometimes-desolate CIA drama as the agency's new director. Major-bad stuff goes down -- a murder, a bomb being built, and an appearance by flaxen-haired weird guy Ed Begley Jr.
PrimeTime (ABC, 10 p.m.)
Cher -- inspired by the forthcoming release of her album ''Living Proof'' -- opens up to Cynthia McFadden about all kinds of things. And somewhere, Rob Camilletti clutches an ice cold Bud Light and stares at the screen.
Tough Enough: Casting Special (MTV, 10 p.m.)
[''Making the Band'' - (hair gel + Justin Timberlake envy)] + 8,000 lbs Testosterone = the second season of this reality series in which big boys compete -- both in the ring and with mentally challenging interviews -- for a slot on the WWF lineup.
