TUBE TALK If you've ever wondered how ''Survivor'' winners Richard Hatch, Tina Wesson, and Ethan Zohn might have fared if they'd been competing against each other, you may get your chance to find out. CBS says producer Mark Burnett is developing a ''tournament of champions'' that would pit ''Survivor'' all-stars against each other, though there is no location or timetable yet for such a match-up....
Before she and Kid Rock got engaged, Pamela Anderson said she might go out on tour with him and dance onstage, and she'd been practicing on a stripper pole in their bedroom. Now, it looks like she'll get to put that rehearsal to good use, sort of. She'll star in ''Stripperella,'' a cartoon series about a stripper/superheroine on TNN. (Some would argue that she's already been a stripper and a cartoon.) The series is the brainchild of Stan Lee, who knows from superheroes, having helped create Spider-Man, the Incredible Hulk, and a host of others during the years he ran Marvel Comics.
The show is part of TNN's larger strategy to draw more adults. The basic cable network is set to debut a whole block of adult-oriented toons, including reruns of ''The Ren and Stimpy Show'' and new series ''Gary the Rat,'' an expansion of the animated shorts that featured Kelsey Grammer as a lawyer-turned-rodent, which first appeared a couple years ago on MediaTrip.com, the now-defunct site that also brought you ''Lil' Pimp'' and ''George Lucas in Love.'' The network has a couple of reality series: a sport called ''Slamball'' involving basketballs and trampolines (sounds like something invented by Trey Parker and Matt Stone) and ''Oblivious'' a game show whose contestants aren't supposed to realize they're participating. (Hint: If a guy comes up to you and starts asking trivia questions, it may be disguised host Regan Burns.) TNN is also airing reruns of ''CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'' and the James Bond movies, which, unlike their recent airings on ABC, will show up uncensored on TNN....
Just because she's quitting her talk show next month doesn't mean Rosie O'Donnell is abandoning television. She tells FoxNews.com that she has a deal with Showtime to make her directing debut with ''America,'' an adaptation of E.R. Frank's young-adult novel about a homeless teenage boy. She expects to shoot the TV movie in the fall.
NBC may have lost professional basketball, but it does have rights to the National Dog Show. The network will air the finals of the Philadelphia competition on Thanksgiving Day, following its annual coverage of the Macy's Parade. Emceeing will be John O'Hurley (''Seinfeld'''s J. Peterman), who should lend an appropriately Fred Willard-ish tone to the event....
