) Neither about life nor about anything like life, this bubbleheaded drama is mostly about slapping together a bunch of cliches regarding the loneliness of ambitious women. Angelina Jolie plays a Seattle TV reporter who is forced to take stock when a sidewalk prophet (Tony Shalhoub) announces that she's going to die in a week. A dully cute, bickering romance with her cameraman (Edward Burns) fills out this cartoonish, overly simplistic tale directed by Stephen Herek (Mr. Holland's Opus).
