Anthony hasn't abandoned his salsa side on his second English-language set, Mended. Diehards may prefer the dancier, Latin-inflected tracks, while Anglos get straight pop, like the sticky-not-sweet ''Tragedy.'' But who can stomach the blend of spice-meets-schmaltz (''I Need You'' is a blatant bid to be the wedding song of 2002) that makes up the bulk of the disc?
