A fertility comedy aimed squarely at the chardonnay set, Maybe offers up a witty, good-looking British couple whose marriage is threatened by their inability to conceive. At times loonily irreverent (Rowan Atkinson has a hilarious bit as an overenthusiastic gyno), the film, which devolves into one of those movies in which a character writes a screenplay exactly like the movie you're watching, is hampered by too much navel-gazing (with or without baby on board). B
