THE SPEED OF LIGHT Elizabeth Rosner (Ballantine, $23.95) Gillian Anderson (The House of Mirth) has optioned Rosner's novel about children of a Holocaust survivor. The adaptation will mark Anderson's feature directorial debut.
THE CRUSADER Michael Alexander Eisner (Doubleday, $24.95) Not to be confused with the Disney giant, the author has sold rights to his historical novel to Nicolas Cage's production company, Saturn Films.
