Tim Allen plays a mild, divorced nobody whose encounter with an office bully inspires him to become a Joe Somebody, with input from a strip-mall martial-arts teacher (Jim Belushi). Not surprisingly, Joe's daughter and a sunshiny colleague (Julie Bowen) like his nobody self best, since playing attractively imperfect white-guy nobodies is what Allen does best.
