A sort of Meatballs-meets-Airplane! set on the last day of summer camp in 1981, this overlooked offering from Showalter and David Wain (vets of MTV's The State) hearkens back to a kinder, gentler era when striped tube socks were the height of cool. While recent teen spooforamas strain themselves with knowing winks, the dumb straight-facedness of Wet's lusty counselors and loser campers makes for smarter humor.
