Move over, Buena Vista Social Club! Meet the ''boys and old fogies'' of the Berlevag Male Choir (ranging in age from their 30s to 90s) who are the lifeblood of this remote Nordic fishing village. The choir members find refuge from the hard times and brutal weather in the traditional ballads and hymns they so stirringly perform in Pythonesque sequences that find them harmonizing in raging blizzards and packing houses. Cult status awaits this offbeat documentary, one of Norway's five biggest box office hits ever. B
