Everything Put Together (2002)

EW's GRADE
C+

Details Release Date: Apr 09, 2002; Movie Rated: Unrated; Genre: Drama; With: Justin Louis and Radha Mitchell; Distributor: Vitagraph Films

From director Marc Forster, who went on to helm Monster's Ball, comes a tale of mourning set within the sedate world of tract-house developments. Mitchell (High Art) deftly delivers the scream of grief as Angie, a woman haunted by the sudden loss of her newborn baby. Forster goes for an eerie, Rosemary's Baby feel, loading his flick with intriguing camera angles and foreboding music. But, thanks to a rather unrealistic plot (especially when it comes to Angie's friends, including Will & Grace's Megan Mullally, who abandon her at the drop of a hat) and some mysterious undertones that never really pan out, Together is anything but.
