Don't be misled by Scheider's top billing. He really isn't around much as the generic bad guy in a tired thriller about an amnesiac spy (McNamara) everyone's trying to kill. But why is Scheider involved at all in a straight-to-video reject? Far too lazily plotted to be suspenseful, the film doesn't even get its run-of-the-mill action right. The explosions often seem like they're happening on a backlot far removed from the one the stuntmen are on. C-
