Whatever potential Dominique Swain showed in Lolita is nowhere to be found here. But to be fair, not even the luminous Thora Birch, who plays Swain's younger sister, can ease the pain of the pancake-flat script and porn-flick-quality performances. Swain stars as the least troubled of a trio of badass, privileged prep school girls who dress up, paint their faces, don masks, and use a stolen gun to assault boys who have wronged them. The principle -- young women reacting to sexual inequality -- is admirable, but the execution is so lame you end up not giving a damn. Thelma and Louise, where are you?
