Details With: Christopher Eccleston and Rhys Ifans

Inside director Charles McDougall's unassuming straight-to-video thriller beats a dark, twisted tale of love, lust, jealousy, and retribution. A transplant recipient (The Others husband Eccleston), crippled by fears of infidelity, becomes consumed with tracking down his wife (Kate Hardie) and her lover (Notting Hill sidekick Ifans), as well as bio details from the organ donor's freakily obsessed mother (Saskia Reeves). McDougall, in his feature debut, tries too hard to titillate, and a few plot holes need suturing, but some of Heart pulses with shocking life. B-
