That's the Kafkaesque metaphor a disembodied voice offers in the video for the heavily hyped mode of transport that's already had venture capitalists swooning. For the uninitiated, the clip of a happy couple Segway-ing like human Road Runners offers a certain thrill normally associated with good Hollywood CGI work. Elsewhere, though, the site is all geeky detail and lofty goals as it earnestly hypes a vision of newly Capraesque communities suddenly reconnected by a superscooter.
