An alternate version of 1993's Tougher Than Tough anthology, this equally wonderful four-CD history of Jamaican pop repeats some classics (Desmond Dekker's ''Israelites,'' Tenor Saw's ''Ring the Alarm'') and adds others (the Abyssinians' ''Satta Massagana''). But the main revision is disc 4, an intermittently great overview of the '90s from rootsmen Luciano and Beres Hammond to dancehall firestarters Sizzla and Capleton -- a reminder that reggae is still a living thing.
