Quiet ache in the verses. Delicate harmonies in the bridge. Then, great bursts of power chords in the chorus. Nu-metal is getting old fast. This well-meaning single is no better or worse than anything else the genre has to offer. It's just depressingly ambitionless. Doug Robb emotes in the expected places over Dan Estrin's clean guitar, and, if you can believe it's 1994, you'll nod your head with sincerity. Now, though, it feels hopelessly generic.
