Never has a sport been more maligned cinematically than baseball. (Need proof? Just look at the entire Major League series.) To add insult to injury, here comes Mike Tollin's hapless Bull Durham-wannabe flick, starring Prinze as an aspiring major-league pitcher and Biel as the wealthy out-of-town girl he falls in love with. The pair coast for a while on their looks, but ultimately, there isn't one iota of chemistry between the lovebirds, and not much more between Prinze and the sport he's supposedly so infatuated with. Foul ball, indeed.
