On his second album, Cherry fils finds inspiration in the breezy singer-songwriter confessionals of the '70s; ''Promises Made'' and ''One Good Reason'' rock lightly like an old back-porch swing, and his lyrics are striated with peaceful, easy feelings. Other times, his power-chord stridency echoes the echoes of Lenny Kravitz, but Eagle-Eye's sharp and buoyant melodies prevent him from sliding into redundancy.
