Q On the cover of his new Pain Is Love disc, Ja Rule sports an elegantly scripted ''Pain is Love'' tattoo. Is it real?
A Tat's a fact. The rapper's had it for three years and decided to make it the title of his No. 1 record. ''I don't think he'd get a tattoo just for an album cover,'' says a spokeswoman for Def Jam, which sent out temporary tattoo replicas as promo items. His next disc, due fall 2002, will be The Last Temptation. ''As far as I know, it's not tattooed on his body anywhere,'' adds the rep. Either way, that title's better than Birthmark on My Knee.
