Like the old Looney Tunes, the best Powerpuff 'toons excel on two levels: They work fine for the tiny tots, and they're smart enough for adults. This has never been more true than with the ''Meet the Beat-Alls'' episode, in which the gals find themselves powerless against a villainous supergroup. It's only when Mojo Jojo falls for ''performance criminal'' Moko Jono that the band comes apart. Full of in-jokes and musical references, ''Beat-Alls'' is as good a Beatles homage as you're gonna find. And the other five episodes are pretty great too.
