Credits
With: David Bowie
--
If David Bowie's best film performance was in The Man Who Fell to Earth, this is probably his worst -- a movie that could be called The Man Who Fell Off the Face of the Earth. The glam-rocker hits a remarkable low as a shadowy 395-year-old mentor who leads a terminally ill adolescent (Switzer) on a hunt to find the meaning of life. With more cliches than Larry King on speed and all the subtlety of an after-school special, the only secret to be found is how anyone talked Bowie into this role.
