Is the age of Aquarius back? How else to explain the upswing in jewelry that celebrates the wearer's spiritual side. Manhattan Beach, Calif.-based Energy Muse's chunky semiprecious necklaces and bracelets purport to harness the healing power of stones. Fans of the pieces, available at L.A.'s Tracey Ross and EnergyMuse.com ($90-500), include Richie Sambora, Kristin Davis, and Kate Hudson. Vincent Gallo picked up an Aries necklace from Joseph Hami's sparkly zodiac line, Karma Collection, while Red Hot Chili Pepper Anthony Kiedis sported a Scorpio piece at the ESPN Action Sports & Music Awards (888-847-4958; $1,000-2,000). And Glenn Close favors baubles from designer Kristen Thompson (left), whose NYC boutique offers jewelry in New Agey stones like aquamarine, peridot, and citrine ($650-3,000). ''People are evolving consciously,'' says Energy Muse cofounder Heather Askinosie of the trend. ''They're moving from an age of materialism into more spirituality.'' Someone better tell P. Diddy.
