The precocious Latina preschooler from Nick Jr.'s cartoon leads kids on a pair of engaging journeys. Aided by her faithful monkey pal, Boots, Dora travels to the library and down a river -- all the while trying to avoid the dreaded Swiper the Fox. As a bonus, the brightly animated series imparts basic bilingual skills without ever tasting like spinach. So, as Dora often says, ''Vamanos!''
