EW Chris Penn's role as Stifler's dad was eliminated when test audiences didn't like his story line. Was there anything else cut that you miss?

HANNIGAN Finch had a hilarious scene with Stifler's dad. Finch spends most of the movie [being celibate] and meditating, and then Stifler's dad says, ''You gotta relax,'' and rubs his shoulders, and Finch has this big orgasm. He has this line where he says [to Stifler], ''Your dad just gave me the best orgasm of my life.''

HERZ The moment I miss the most was where Michelle does that thing with the trumpet [to Jim]. We shot the band-camp director picking [up the trumpet]...and knowing something is wrong, but playing it anyway. Then at the end, you see he's got a horrible rash around his mouth. Everyone thought it was too gross.

EW Michelle spends much of the movie teaching Jim how to please a woman. Is there anything you had to be trained in?

HERZ The G-spot. Demonstrations, my office, 12 p.m.

ROGERS The whole bra thing was something from my past.

BIGGS I struggled with my first bra unhooking, no question about it.

THOMAS Every time I met a girl I liked, I would get this terrible nausea. One time, I was left alone with this girl and I had to go puke. That took a few years to get over.

SCOTT I just played sports.

EW Since tantric sex plays such a big part in the movie, have you looked into it for your own personal pleasure?

THOMAS I went to a workshop. The day started with sharing our sexual fears and desires, and the afternoon was meditation time, where you breathe deeply and spread sexual feeling into the body. It was spectacular. The day after, I had dinner with Jason and his girlfriend, and gave them an exercise to do. Apparently, they fell asleep.

HANNIGAN I think they should do an ''American Pie 2'' class.

HERZ I did a lot of research. Again, demonstrations, my office, 3 p.m.

SCOTT I'm cool without it.

EW What did you guys hear the most after ''American Pie'' became a hit?

HANNIGAN ''Say, 'One time at band camp...' or 'Say my name, bitch.'''

HERZ People wanted to know if I had sex with a pie. Of course I didn't.

SCOTT ''What was in the beer?'' I say egg white, and they're disappointed.

BIGGS I got ''pie guy'' a lot.

EW Finch is still obsessed with Stifler's mom. Who's your ''mature'' weakness?

HANNIGAN Jack Nicholson. I met him.... It was like ''Touch my ovaries.''

HERZ Is it fair to say Rene Russo?

BIGGS I'm definitely thinking Rene Russo.

KLEIN Michelle Pfeiffer.

THOMAS I think Hillary Clinton is a little attractive. Maybe you shouldn't print that.

EW Do you guys have any dignity left?

BIGGS Of course. It's my character in these situations, and I'll do anything for comedy. At least, this is what my therapist has convinced me of.

THOMAS Yes, I do. I have a lot of money to show for it, which helps save your pride.

KLEIN I didn't have any dignity walking in.

EW If there were an ''American Pie 3,'' what would happen?

BIGGS Jim's a gigolo.

PRODUCER CRAIG PERRY It'll be 10 years from now, and we should make it a ''Big Chill.''

HANNIGAN It should be many years from now, and it's the guys talking about whether or not they should take Viagra. I mean, this isn't ''Rocky.'' How much trouble can Jim get into before they lock him up?

HERZ We would turn the camera on, and none of the actors would be there.
