ON TV, Roseanne Barr's eponymous sitcom grabs the week's highest ratings. MEANWHILE...shortly after forfeiting her 60 Minutes gig due to producers' refusal to let her remain a part-time staffer, Meredith Vieira gives birth to a baby boy. She would ultimately land on ABC's estrogen-laden gabfest The View.
