Here's a way to get ink for your website: Protest an innocuous kids' flick. The founders of www.naturallycurly.com, a service site for ''girls with curls'' that averages a million hits a month, are wound up about The Princess Diaries. They're boycotting the Disney film over ''curl hostile'' behavior. In Princess, Anne Hathaway is transformed from ringleted schoolgirl into straight-tressed royalty. ''This movie is blatantly saying [Hathaway] is unattractive because of her curly hair,'' says site cofounder Michelle Breyer, 38, a Texas newspaper reporter who knows the boycott will seem farcical to most. ''We had made such strides with Julianna Margulies and Keri Russell.'' Disney reps didn't return calls, but a spokesperson for Julie Andrews (who plays Hathaway's grandma queen) isn't apologizing for the controversial coif. ''Sometimes girls with curly hair like to have straight hair,'' he says. ''I'm sure Julie feels it wasn't done to offend anyone.'' Maybe a blow-dryer would straighten out this mess.
