Hedwig and the Angry Inch cologne (capturing the aromas of hairspray, cigarette smoke, cheap hotel rooms) is the newest offbeat scent from NYC-based Demeter Fragrances. Cofounded by Christopher Gable and Christopher Brosius, the company produces other memory-evoking potions ($15 for a typical one-ounce bottle) that have caught on with celebs such as Clint Eastwood (Dirt), Stella McCartney (Lettuce), and Uma Thurman (Rain). A surprise hit is Funeral Home (carnations, lilies, and wet Oriental rug). Do we smell a Six Feet Under tie-in?
