All About
Jurassic Park IIIC
In one of the few enticing sequences, Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and his crew face off against some cawing pteranodons with anvil heads that cock and bite with auto-jut purpose. In a strange way, the other dinosaurs -- the T. rex, the raptors, the giant Spinosaurus -- come off a bit too much like comfy old friends. This is the first of the Jurassic films not to be directed by executive producer Steven Spielberg, and you miss his choreographic staging, his playfully sinister hide-and-seek wizardry.
