Don't expect Run Lola Run 2 and you'll be fine with Tom Tykwer's moody study of a psychiatric nurse (Franka Potente) whose fate crosses with that of a small-time crook (Benno Fürmann) who saves her life when she's hit by a truck. Ponderous when indulging in the mysteries of destiny, the movie is arresting when absorbed in the unorthodox daily environments of these two soulmates-by-chance.
