America's Sweethearts (2012)

EW's GRADE
D

Details Lead Performance: Various Artists; Genre: Soundtracks

If these are truly America's sweethearts, then it's high time to renew our passports. Those who stay behind will hear loads of capital ''L'' lite: the Corrs, a Diane Warren-penned weeper (sung by Kelly Levesque), a Third Eye Blind knockoff (Clara's Star), and...Geri Halliwell. Only some dark guitar noodling from Mark Knopfler and the passable beats of Scapegoat Wax might keep the music militia from starting a second revolution to free our nation of this oppression.
