AT THE MOVIES, Men in Black, starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, abducts $30 million at the box office. ON TV, Fox's fantastical Roar -- starring a then-unknown Heath Ledger -- makes a surprise debut in the Nielsen top 20. IN MUSIC, the Spice Girls' Spice zig-ah-zig-ahs to No. 1 on the Billboard album chart. MEANWHILE...a former Miller Brewing exec is awarded $26.6 million after he was fired allegedly for describing Seinfeld's what-name-rhymes-with-a-female body-part episode in the office. The verdict would later be overturned on appeal.
