Filmmakers Menachem Daum and Oren Rudavsky penetrate the separatist Jewish sect known as much for its strict adherence to religious law as for its distinctive clothing (hats and long black coats for men, wigs and ''modest'' dress for women). While the film offers a fascinating glimpse of these ''urban Puritans,'' it raises almost as many questions as it answers about a group whose lives -- alongside, but not AMONG others -- center on difference.
