Gimme Shelter

Pitts' Palace! 6 BR, 6.5 BTH French provincial-style home. PRICE $12-14 million Reigning Hollywood golden couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are setting up new digs. After a long search -- they began house hunting before their July 29, 2000 wedding -- the pair has purchased a 1934 Beverly Hills estate. The 11,000-square-foot dwelling is full of amenities, including a massive fireplace (a trademark of architect Wallace Neff's); a ''taproom'' (think Prohibition) that doubles as a screening room; and a wine cellar with an adjoining dining area (not to be confused with the formal dining room). The master suite includes his-and-her offices and dressing rooms, a fireplace, and a terrace overlooking the lush grounds. Among the trees are a pool, cabana, and a tennis court with rest rooms. Sounds fit for royalty.
