D-
''Reversal of Fortune'' Oscar winner Jeremy Irons hams shamelessly as an evil warlock in this painfully labored movie version of the role-playing game. The cast can't seem to decide if it's making a straight-faced fantasy (''American Beauty'''s Birch earnestly overenunciates her lines as a Queen Amidala-esque empress) or a goofy spoof (''Scary Movie'''s Marlon Wayans mugs weakly as a wisecracking thief). Either way, D&D's a D-U-D.
