Uh-oh, trouble's afoot at the Goose Bar Ranch. Leave it to an untamed filly to teach the McLaughlin family lessons of responsibility and friendship. But if Flicka had been a true friend, she would have appeared in every scene of this overwrought movie. When there isn't a pretty pony to ogle, the mawkish acting and relentless musical score in My Friend Flicka is near unbearable.
