It List 2002

Check out the year's gotta-have-''It'' things | 181656__sharon_l
SHARON AND SHARE ALIKE The Osbournes' Pomeranian is the s-IT!
Sharon Osbourne: MTV

IT READ: VICE MAGAZINE
The brutally honest, low-rent art-and-culture 'zine -- a Canadian expat now based in Brooklyn -- entices Jack Black and Mike Myers, and its fashion do's and don'ts page is a riot. Is it any wonder this motley crew is developing a TV show with HBO?

IT IRONIC T-SHIRT
Your ''Free Winona!'' top is so four months ago. Make like David Gest and grab a souvenir tee from one of Liza Minnelli's seven recent New York shows, cut off the sleeves, and break out the Be-Dazzler!

IT CHICK SPORT: GIRL SURFING
While Hawaiian-themed prints are washing ashore this summer, this distaff diversion has been featured in a recent Sheryl Crow video and will be seen in Universal's upcoming Michelle Rodriguez drama ''Blue Crush'' and the in-the-works ''Girl in the Curl.''

IT TECH TALK: AIRTEXTING
As if teens need another reason to carry cell phones, now there's this eye-popping feature. Simply type the words (i.e. ''hey there''), wave your phone, and a string of blinking red lights conveys your message into thin air.

IT AIRLINE: JETBLUE AIRWAYS
Bargain basement fares! A très mod ad campaign! DirecTV programming in every leather seat! No wonder this two-year-old carrier -- reportedly a favorite of ''Today'' anchor Katie Couric -- is flying high.

IT COCKTAIL: THE SIDECAR
Long overshadowed by the hussy Cosmopolitan, this speakeasy standard is making a comeback as subtle as its flavor. It's also got a champion in Busta Rhymes, who sang the praises of its main ingredient -- Courvoisier cognac -- in one of spring's biggest hip-hop anthems.

IT SUPER FURRY ANIMAL: THE POMERANIAN
They're prone to yapping. They look like Phyllis Diller on her worst hair day. And they pee on every f---ing inch of the rug, as frustrated owner Ozzy Osbourne can attest. Freakishly cuddly, just like the metal master himself.
