You'd think Marilyn Manson wouldn't mind admitting that he rubbed his genitals against a security guard's neck, but instead, he managed to end the sexual misconduct case against him without confessing to wrongdoing. The shock rocker entered a plea of no contest (which accepts the charges without admitting guilt) to charges of assault and battery and being a disorderly person during a July 30, 2001 concert in Michigan, according to the Associated Press.

Manson will pay a fine and court costs that add up to $4,000 -- a punishment that prosecutors feel is insufficient, AP reported. Manson and his lawyer, however, said they were happy with the outcome. ''It's a victory for art,'' Manson told reporters. Meanwhile, Joshua Keasler, the security guard whose neck was allegedly violated during the show, is proceeding with a civil suit against Manson. He's probably hoping for more than $4,000.
