Oh, those studio duds released in the dead of winter: They inevitably resurface on video during the dog days of summer. A case in point is Office Space, a tepid spoof of workplace politics, in which an office schlepp (Livingston) overdoses on hypnotherapy, burying his inhibitions just enough to plan a rip-off of the company. Trouble is, hypnosis also makes him a verrry laid-back guy and that's all too appropriate for the ho-hum pace of writer-director Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-head), whose move from animation to live action has somehow dulled his anarchic instincts.
