Bad boys or knights in shining armor? Both, actually. On these 13 immaculately strategized tracks, the boy band dishes out low-cal Barry White-isms that play to every Cinderella's fantasy. But for each instance of emotional rescue (''Girl, I'll be your Superman''), there's a counterpoint come-on (''We can do it automatic/I can freak you with my gadget''). Sadly, by relying on canned beats, worn posturing, and sissy vocals, Youngstown won't woo discerning ears. C+
