Alien antics ensue when the titular spaceman (Lloyd) crash-lands on Earth and bunks with newsman Daniels while repairing the mother ship. Small surprise: My Favorite Martian packs in the gags — the Martian dresses funny, the Martian loves ice cream. Big surprise: Some of them work, thanks to Daniels' deft timing and the cast's breezy what-the-hell-nobody's-gonna-see-this-anyway attitude. Reel Goodies (0:52) Daniels attempts to woo a spoiled newscaster (Elizabeth Hurley) with wine, massage...and Lloyd's dismembered arm. The Last Detail In an obligatory nod to TV's original Martian, Ray Walston meanders in and out of the plot.
