Long on smarm and short on charm, the unctuous Spade makes for an improbable romantic hero. In this thoroughly crass comedy -- directed by the auteur behind Booty Call -- Spade kidnaps the dog of his neighbor (Marceau) as a courting tactic (and as a prelude to poop jokes). He gets the girl, which is odd, as Marceau betrays nothing more than patient endurance. Reel Goodies (1:00) Jon Lovitz pops up as a daft animal psychoanalyst.
