As a woman wrongly convicted of murdering her husband -- the snake's alive -- Ashley Judd uses prison as a spa and, upon release, heads out to confront her dirtbag spouse and reclaim her child. This toothless thriller feels like a strained reworking of The Fugitive, right down to the casting of Tommy Lee Jones as a growly, drawly parole officer. Bruce Beresford directs, and obviously enjoyed the touristic location shoots in pretty Washington State and New Orleans. D+
