Rob Reiner's pungent, funny, surprisingly forceful new movie follows an embattled Los Angeles couple (Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfeiffer), who've been together for 15 years but have stopped recognizing the goodness that they share. Though the script (by Alan Zweibel and Jessie Nelson) sometimes treads a thin line between the universal and the cliche, Reiner creates something unexpected, a marital romance. A-
