Molly Shannon's Saturday Night Live creation, the morose, armpit-smelling Mary Katherine Gallagher, gets turned into a halfway presentable heroine in a movie that dissipates her energy. To call this a TV sketch padded out to feature length would be to give it too much credit. It barely boasts enough funny material to fill four minutes. D
