As Roxy Music leader and later as solo act, Ferry exuded cool suaveness. For this set of '30s standards he's collapsed into exhaustion, as if centuries of love affairs weighed heavily on his tuxedoed shoulders. Still, his elegant restraint works wonders on the material, and the minimal arrangements are lovely. Too bad the selections (''Falling in Love Again'') are so predictable.
