Writer-director Malcolm D. Lee pours on the gee-whiz cheer in this reunion comedy. The trigger for a predictable round of arguments and reconciliations is the barely fictionalized first novel that Harper Stewart (Taye Diggs) has published on the eve of nuptials for a college pal. The appealing ensemble can't squeeze much drama from pure soap.
