Rayman 2: The Great Escape

The made-in-France hero is back in a stunning 3-D action-adventure. Traveling through 50 hand-drawn levels spread across 17 worlds, Rayman must restore the harmony of his planet with the help of Polochus the Magician. Concerned parents can rest assured there's nary a gun to be found in the entire game. Rather, Rayman has to use his wits (and sometimes his ears) to successfully complete this masterpiece. Another quirky export from the land that gave us crepes and Gerard Depardieu. B+
