Not even divine intervention could stop Regis Philbin and ABC's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire juggernaut. NBC's Mary, Mother of Jesus (18th) may have miraculously squeaked by its Sunday sweeps movie competition, part one of CBS' disaster flick Aftershock: Earthquake in New York (22nd), but Millionaire reigned supreme (2nd). The Philbin-buster continued to wreak havoc all over the schedule, with its Thursday edition (3rd) beating NBC's Frasier (12th) in total viewers -- a 9 p.m. feat ABC hasn't accomplished since 1983. There's more good news for ABC: Drew Carey's live-TV gamble (10th) paid off, giving the network its highest Wednesday 18-49 ratings since last year, and the Danny Bonaduce-produced Partridge Family tell-all, Come On, Get Happy (65th), grooved to a respectable 10.4 million viewers.
