With three music specials -- Shania Twain: Come on Over (13th), Celine Dion: All the Way (38th), and Ricky Martin: One Night Only (45th) -- CBS gorged on big numbers. An all-original NBC Thanksgiving lineup didn't stop the Twain train: Her special beat Just Shoot Me (21st) in total viewers. At least the Peacock had ER, which delivered the top spot with the much-hyped birth of Nurse Hathaway's twins. NBC's Will & Grace (an all-time high at 8th) netted ratings to be thankful for in a one-shot Thursday slot. As for the annual battle of the Thanksgiving-night rerun movies, ABC's Forrest Gump (31st) ran right over Fox's repeat of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (63rd).
