SOLD ONE RINGY-DINGY HOME! 5 BR, 7 BTH high-tech spread in the San Fernando Valley PRICE $2 million
Comedian Lily Tomlin recently bought this spacious 7,500-square-foot pad after selling her longtime Hollywood Hills mansion earlier this month to Deep Impact director Mimi Leder for over $2 million. Tomlin had wanted a more au courant look (her previous home was built in 1912). Remodeled in the '80s, Tomlin's new digs speak to her literally. According to selling broker Connie Nelson of Coldwell Banker-Jon Douglas, the house is fully computerized and features a digital voice that says, among other things, ''The mail has arrived.'' Another highlight: a swimming pool with a stereo system for underwater listening. Yes, but does it have a giant rocking chair?
